A collection of personal observations and musings. This is a work in progress. bup•kis Noun: informal. Origin from the Yiddish. It means "nothing at all" or "absolutely nothing". (From the Yiddish – where it literally means “beans.” The reference is to how inexpensive and common beans are.) A fair indication of what my musings are worth.

Christopher Martin sometimes writes. He lives in Louisville, Kentucky and has worked as a writer on-and-off for more than 20 years. Most recently he was employed for The Courier-Journal newspaper as a copywriter and editor for 14 years. He has written materials for advertising, marketing, communications and media. He has also written a variety of feature articles for magazine and newspaper products. Chris is a graduate of the University of Kentucky from which he holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and a minor in Western philosophy. He also attended the University of Louisville where he pursued advanced courses in comparative literature, linguistics and education.
